MultiSpecialist, Dr. William Maxfield is board-certified in the medical specialties of Hyperbaric Medicine, Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine. He is the Founder of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Founder of the International Hyperbaric Association. He has served on the faculties of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Tulane University School of Medicine, and LSU Medical School. He has also served as Chief of the Radioisotope Laboratory at the Bethesda Naval Hospital. Dr. Maxfield was Chief of Radiation Therapy and Chairman of the Nuclear Medicine Laboratory at the Ochsner Foundation Hospital. Dr. Maxfield serves as an expert medical advisor to NewsMax news agency. He has published a 2017 book entitled The Oxygen Cure.
